Morning
A question arrives for the two of you. Neither answer opens until both are in.
During the day
One of you writes, draws or photographs something, in their own ink.
Before they look
It is already on their home screen. Neither of you opened an app for it.

It joins everything else the two of you have ever sent.
The third one is the whole trick, and it is the one the category gets wrong: two of the biggest apps in it still make you open the app to find out that something arrived.

The question comes from foldnote, never from each other, so neither of you has to admit you were the one who wanted to ask. Nothing is visible until both answers are in — and then both are, at the same second.
